We would be grateful if you could take time to read the following

Orders may be placed by phone, fax, email or on-line via our web site. For phone orders please call Freephone 0800 975 8000 between 0900-1700 Monday – Friday. If calling outside of our normal business hours you may either leave your name and phone number on our answerphone and we will call you back when the office re-opens or you may leave your order on the answerphone. Alternatively you may Freefax us on 0800 975 8111.

All orders received before 2.00pm are normally despatched the same day but we would ask you to order in good time to avoid possible delay.

To assist in processing your order please if possible try to quote your unique customer reference number (this can be found on our invoice alongside your telephone number). If you can also quote our product codes this would also help.

However we will always advise if you are unsure of your number or product codes.
Quotes are valid and/or held for one month.

PRICING
All prices quoted in the catalogue are Trade Prices exclusive of Vat.

PAYMENT
Payment may be made by Cash, Cheque drawn on a UK Bank, Credit Card or BACS.
We accept the following Credit Cards: Eurocard, Mastercard, Switch and Visa.

PAYMENT TERMS
For first time orders we require payment before the order is sent. Subsequently an account will be opened for you with payment due within 15 days of date on invoice. All overseas orders including Republic of Ireland have to be paid for before despatch.

BANK CHARGES
All Bank charges incurred by Oxford Medical Supplies  in settlement of invoices will be debited to the customer at cost.

RETURNED GOODS
We are happy to accept returns be they wrongly ordered items or on that rare occasion when they are faulty.
We are committed to caring for our customers and will either give you a refund or replace the returned item without question.
All we ask is that you return the goods to us within 15 days of receipt.
If the goods are wrongly ordered they should be returned to us as new and the return postage paid by the customer.
If the goods are faulty please advise us of the cost of return postage and we will issue you with a credit for the postage.
We regret we cannot accept returned needles unless they are in the original box and unopened.

DAMAGE TO GOODS
Damage incurred in transit must be reported to the Royal Mail or Courier and also to Oxford Medical Supplies Ltd within 5 days of receipt.

DISCOUNTS
We offer a 10% discount on all our products to students and first year practitioners of acupuncture.
We are always happy to discuss discounts on bulk orders for Colleges, Schools, Hospitals and large Clinics. Please call us to discuss our very competitive Annual Supply Contract which can lead to considerable savings on your annual budget.

VAT
VAT is chargeable on all goods and services we provide in the UK except books and exports to non-EU countries. VAT will be charged on exports to EU countries unless a VAT number is provided at time of ordering.
We are sometimes asked why there is VAT on postage in the UK. It is a legal requirement by HM Customs & Excise to charge VAT on postage to customers in the UK.
If you are a UK registered organisation or charity claiming exemption from VAT you must provide the relevant completed HM Customs & Excise Certificate at the time of ordering otherwise we are obliged to charge VAT. See HM Customs booklet 701/1/95

CARRIAGE
All our orders are either sent by Royal Mail or UPS Next Day Courier Service.

Orders within the UK up to a value of £50.00 excluding Vat and any applicable discounts are despatched by Royal Mail First Class Post at a Flat Charge of £3.75 per consignment excluding VAT.

Orders within the UK above £50.00 excluding VAT and any applicable discounts are despatched on UPS Next Day Courier Service at a Flat Charge of £ 7.75 to private customers. UPS Couriers will deliver at any time between 0900-1700 (business address) and 0900-1900 (residential) Monday to Friday, the day after the consignment is despatched from our warehouse. We regret it is not possible to stipulate a particular time unless you are willing to pay a surcharge for timed delivery, in which case we can obtain a price for you from UPS Couriers.

We can organise delivery to an alternative address at no extra cost provided you notify us at the time of ordering.

Shipping charges for orders to Europe and the rest of the world will vary according to weight and destination.

We would suggest you request a shipping quote from us at the time you place your order.

We regret we cannot accept responsibility for any customs charges that may be incurred in the country of destination.
